Many of us try to do it all ourselves.  While it is of great value to learn and even try different methods…. have certainly tried to do that being a huge class junkie myself…..I also make a huge effort to remind myself to “stick to what you know”.

My best area to be productive in my studio is at my torch bench melting glass.

Networking/Collaborating with artist friends allows me to see my glass in a different light as I hand it over to them to create beautiful finished pieces using their areas of expertise.  Here are two wonderful examples of amazing collaboration…..Thank you ladies, you are both great friends of mine – so supportive and encouraging…..it has been a pleasure and I look forward to many more projects together!

(not to be confused with my collaboration theme…but seeing her in one of my favorite magazines is such a pleasure for me!)
