Take the next step in your metalsmithing journey with this intermediate-level gemstone setting workshop.
Create a beautiful sterling silver ring featuring your choice of a genuine rose cut gemstone. Choose from Tanzanite, Garnet, Tourmaline, Aquamarine, Citrine, or Peridot and learn to fabricate a custom bezel setting designed specifically for your stone.
Working in sterling and fine silver, you will create a completely hand-fabricated ring, including a comfort-fit band and custom bezel setting. Along the way, you'll refine your fabrication skills through multiple soldering steps, precision fitting, finishing, and stone setting techniques.
Because each gemstone is unique in shape, size, and character, every ring will be a one-of-a-kind creation.
Prerequisite Required
This is not a beginner-level class. Students must have successfully completed at least one of the following workshops:
- Stacking Rings (Set of Three)
- Spinner Ring Workshop
- CZ Stacker Ring Workshop
Class Details
- Class Fee: $225
- All materials included
- Limited to 4 students
- Approximate class time: 4–6 hours (please allow up to 6 hours)
- Ages 18 and older (some exceptions may be considered—please ask)
